Introduction

Connection Technology Systems SFP+ (Small Form-factor Plug-in) fiber transceivers comply with IEEE-802.3ae 10Gbps BASE-SR/LR/BX standards and also provide DMI (Diagnostic Monitor Interface) function, which allows real-time access to device operating parameters such as transceiver temperature, laser bias current, transmitted optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage.

SFP+ fiber transceivers can go with CTS media converters that support SFP+ modules. Furthermore, SFP+ fiber transceivers can be mixed and matched on a given converter or switch to maximize flexibility. However, the connection and associated ports at the remote end must match the chosen SFP+ connection type. A list of common SFP+ modules available from CTS is provided in ORDER INFORMATION.
