It also features vertical field solutions for smart manufacturing, smart retail, smart healthcare, digital health, smart agriculture, and smart city.

Positioned as the "Innovation Hub of Asia," InnoVEX, the startup exhibition held concurrently with COMPUTEX, celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. Focusing on AI, Semiconductor Applications, Smart Mobility, Next-Generation Communication, and Green Tech, InnoVEX gathers over 450 startup teams from 24 countries and regions. To mark the milestone of its 10th anniversary, InnoVEX hosted a special celebration during its opening ceremony on the afternoon of May 20th. The ceremony not only featured a retrospective video detailing InnoVEX's origins and its fruitful achievements over the past ten years but also invited Premier Jung-tai Cho and Chairman James Huang to cut a celebratory cake. To thank all supporters, InnoVEX's 10th anniversary includes a series of special celebratory events, along with an expanded Night Party designed to foster exchange, inspire innovation, and expand cooperation opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere.

COMPUTEX Collaborates with Global Tech Partners to Lead the Way in AI-Powered Future Living

In his opening remarks, President Ching-te Lai stated that this year's exhibition theme, "AI NEXT," signifies that we are standing at the forefront of technological innovation. It also represents that in the next generation, artificial intelligence is set to transform human life, manufacturing, and even the global landscape. He emphasized that the crucial driving force behind "AI NEXT" is computing, and noted that Taiwan's semiconductor, ICT, and AI industry chains are among the most complete in the world—serving as an indispensable key force in advancing "AI NEXT." He expressed his hope that Taiwan's industries will collaborate with the global supply chain by establishing a strong base in Taiwan, expanding internationally, and marketing to the world. He also called for the formation of a "national team" to work with the government, ensuring that Taiwan not only excels in hardware but also strengthens its software capabilities to provide solutions for various global challenges—making Taiwan stronger and contributing to a more prosperous world. He further mentioned that over 90% of the world's high-end wafers are produced in Taiwan, supporting the thriving development of global industries. The government is actively formulating economic and trade cooperation policies to deepen international ties, promoting the formation of a " democratic semiconductor supply chain alliance" with Taiwan at its core to build a secure, trustworthy, and free global technology network.

Paul SL Peng, Chairman of the TCA, stated in his speech that AI has become a key driving force propelling humanity toward a new era of civilization, with profound impacts on geopolitics, industrial competition, and social transformation. Over the past two years, global dynamics and industrial fluctuations have been closely closely aligned with the pace of AI development. Therefore, COMPUTEX's ability to accurately reflect global AI development trends is more significant than ever.

James Huang, Chairman of TAITRA, pointed out that AI has crossed the Turing threshold and begun to exhibit memory, representing a profound revolution that bridges hardware and software, as well as humans and artificial intelligence. Taiwan stands at the core of this transformation, leveraging its strengths in semiconductors, innovative energy, and advanced computing technology to lead the adventl of the new AI era.

The major exhibitors at COMPUTEX 2025 include leading domestic and international tech companies such as Acer, ADATA, Advantech, AIC, ASRock, ASUSTeK, ATEN, Auras, BenQ, CHAINTECH, Chenbro, Delta, ECS, Foxconn, GIGABYTE, G.SKILL, Innodisk, Intel, Inventec, ITRI, KIOXIA, LITEON, MediaTek, MSI, NVIDIA, MiTAC Computing, Pegatron, Pro Gamersware, PSMC, QCT, PNY, Realtek, Seagate, SECOM, Shuttle, Silicon Motion, Silicon Power, SOLOMON, Supermicro, Synology, TEAMGROUP, Thermaltake, Transcend, Trend Micro, Vertiv, Wiwynn, YUAN High-Tech, TADA, RVTA, and tsta.
